D.J. Bolerjack joined the 2News team in July and is now the Chief Bureau Reporter in Southern Utah after spending two years as a multi-media reporter and weekend anchor at KSNT 27 in Topeka, KS.
During his career so far, he has done everything from covering breaking news, politics, feature stories and even chasing tornados on the Kansas plains. Today, he reports live every day on the 5 and 6 O'Clock News covering all of the latest news and events in beautiful Southern Utah.
Before the television news business, D.J. attended Kansas State University and graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism. During that time, he was a writer for the University newspaper, radio play-by-play analyst, college ambassador and on-air talent for the University television station.
D.J. also completed several internships one was at KUTV 2 News in 2011 and since then he's always known he wanted to get back to Utah.
"News is unpredictable and that's exactly why I got into this business," D.J. says. "I love watching a story transform. I don't see it as work, reporting the news is something I love and enjoy doing."
When D.J. is not reporting the news, he's spending time with his friends, family, working out and enjoying the great outdoors in Southern Utah. He is glad to be on Utah’s #1 news team and if you have any story ideas, send D.J. an email or follow him on twitter.
