After college Holly headed south to Western Oregon where she worked at KEZI 9 TV for seven years. She started her career at KEZI as the bureau chief for the Roseburg Newsroom, but was soon promoted to the weekend anchor slot in Eugene. Holly anchored weekends for two years and then moved to mornings where she spent four years anchoring KEZI 9 News This Morning.

Throughout the course of Hollys career shes had the privilege of covering some of Western Oregons most newsworthy stories, including the 2008 Presidential Primary visits of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton and the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials. Shes managed several station franchises, including Baby On Board: A Parents Tale and CrimeStoppers. Hollys been sent on assignment to China with the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce and even won a "Dancing With The Stars" style ballroom dance competition. Her investigative reporting has landed her numerous exclusives, the most notable being the conclusion of a 15-year-old cold case. With that story she won first place for both general reporting and investigative reporting in the 2011 Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) Northwest Excellence in Journalism Contest.
