Recommendation: “Game of Thrones” is the best show on television. It’s epic, complex and engrossing. The performances are evenly excellent, the direction (which is handled by multiple directors) is seamlessly executed and the massive cast is spectacular. Yes, there are ample amounts of violence, nudity and vulgarities to be found within any given episode, but it never strays into the campy arena that Starz’s “Spartacus” occupies. I’ll admit that I miss Sean Bean’s presence, but that doesn’t diminish my love for the series nor the anticipation I feel leading up to the third season.
