  • 1 - 3 pound beef roast (chuck, round…)
  • 4 cups beef stock
  • 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp dry mustard
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 8 large buns

Add the beef roast into your slow cooker.

Pour the beef stock, worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic and onion powder, and dry mustard over the roast.

Turn your slow cooker on high and cook for about 4-6 hours. At this point, the roast should be cooked enough to slice and not fall apart. Thinly slice the roast and return the slice beef back to your slow cooker and continue cooking for a couple of hours until the slices are tender. Every slow cooker is different, so adjust times accordingly.

When the sliced beef is tender, pile a few slices on a bun, top with a slice of swiss cheese and place under the broiler to melt the cheese.

Serve with the drippings/broth of the roast and enjoy! Serve with a freshly made green salad for a simply delicious meal!
