(KUTV) Salt Lake City - It's National Chocolate Chip Day. Chef Aaron is in the Fresh Living kitchen to take your chocolate chip cookie celebration to the next level by making Milk and Cookies Lasagna and Chocolate Chip Cookie S'mores. You don't even have to bake, he's using Harmon's chocolate chip cookies that are ready and in-store today.
Milk and Cookies Lasagna Adapted from Hugs and Cookies | Serves 8-10 people
- 2 packages Harmons Chocolate chip cookies
- 1½ cups milk, used for dipping
- 3 cups heavy whipping cream
- 2/3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla Hot fudge sauce
Start a 11x7 pan off with a flat layer of cookies on the bottom. Remember, you are going to dip each cookie in the milk before laying it in the pan. Just a quick dip! Whip heavy whipping cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks. Repeat this process until you reach the top! I made 3 cookie layers in my pan. Drizzle on some hot fudge and broken cookie pieces. Let sit in fridge at least 6 hours before serving.
