Utah Parent Center: A Resource for Families with Special Needs

(KUTV) Salt Lake City - If you know a family who has children with one or multiple disabilities, you'll want to tell them about the Utah Parent Center. Jennie Dopp, Development Coordinator for the Utah Parent Center, stopped by Fresh Living to talk about the amazing resources Utah Parent Center offers parents.

The mission of the Utah Parent Center (UPC or Center) is to help parents help their children, youth and young adults with all disabilities to live included, productive lives as members of the community. We accomplish our mission by providing accurate information, empathetic peer support, valuable training and effective advocacy based on the concept of parents helping parents.

The Utah Parent Center is holding a fundraiser at Topgolf on Thursday, September 14th, 2017. Registration begins at 6:00 pm, and the fundraiser runs from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. It's 3 hours of unlimited Topgolf, dinner, bottomless soda, iced tea, water, and free club rental. The fundraiser is $100/person and proceeds go to the Utah Parent Center.
