What advancements have been made for better treatment options for patients with cancer?
- Conventional therapies still can work well but these days we also have newer treatments like molecular therapy or targeted therapy that can give a whole new world of treatment options, which leads to much more hope than ever before with cancer treatment.
- I will also mention that cancer diagnosis is much more individualized now, so treatment can be more individually focused.
What has changed as far as side effects of various medications?
- Prevention of side effects from treatment has come a long way.
