(KUTV) — It's time to spring into running with the right footwear, and Danny Moody, an exercise therapist with the Utah Valley Hospital, is here to help.
Here's what you need to know:
How should running shoes fit?

How can you tell if a running shoe is worn out?
- Cushion compression
- Tread wear
How can I start spring running?
- Ease into it – don’t expect to be where you were last fall
- Motivate yourself so you are consistent
- Find a new fun run
- Run with a group
- Set new goals
