(KUTV) Lagoon's new rides and traditions keep visitors coming back again and again.
Many of its rides have a lot of history behind it, including the "white rollercoaster."
The rollercoaster was built in 1921 and is on a national historic registry.
"It's actually one of the oldest operation rollercoasters in the world," said Julie Freed, who is in charge of special events at Lagoon.
It's called the "white rollercoaster," but if you've visited the park you may have noticed it's slowly turning brown.
Lagoon has slowly been taking it apart one section at a time and refurbishing the ride. And instead of painting it white, it has been left brown.
