(KUTV) Reverend Doctor Mike Imperiale of the First Presbyterian Church joined us to discuss the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation.
Imperiale explains what exactly the Reformation was, how the Presbyterian church was formed, and why it's still important to the community.
The festival, taking place this weekend, will have a myriad of activities.
- Highland Dance Competition, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- Bake sale, noon - 3 p.m.
- Genealogists from the Family History Museum to assist in building family trees, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
- Kids Korner, noon - 6 p.m.
- Community Concert by the Salt Lake Scots at 6 p.m.
From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., the community will celebrate the Kirkin o' th' Tartan (blessing of the Clans). This will feature 40 clans, brass, Salt Lake Scots, and Choir.
