New Ronald McDonald Room Opens at Primary Children's Hospital
(KUTV) Many families will spend the holidays caring for sick children at Primary Children's Hospital and while at the hospital, there is a home away from home.

Earlier this year, the Ronald McDonald Family Room opened at Primary Children's Hospital. This 3,500 square feet room has all the amenities of home.

Executive Director Carrie Romano gave us a tour of the room that includes a fully stocked kitchen, laundry facilities and four sleeping rooms.

Volunteers and staff also provide resources for families who may have to stay at the hospital for days, weeks or even months.

The sitting areas give families a chance to lean on each other during a time of need and sometimes heartache.
