'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice:' Jesse Eisenberg and the art of manipulation
(KUTV) In "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" Jesse Eisenberg plays the sort of Lex Luthor that shares DNA with Shakespeare's Iago. In our interview Eisenberg explains the motivation to bring a sense of levity to the character, while still staying true to Luthor's darkly manipulative nature that comic book fans have come to know so well. The results are something different and a little unexpected.
Written by Chris Terrio ("Argo") and David S. Goyer ("The Dark Knight") and directed by Zack Snyder ("The Watchmen") "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" continues that narrative that began with 2013's "Man of Steel" as it pits the world's greatest superpowers, Batman and Superman, and sets up events to come in 2017's "The Justice League Part One."
