Heber Valley Cheese
“Classic Heber Valley Artisan Cheese Ball”Ingredients:2 packages (8 oz ea) cream cheese, softened1 ½ cups Cascade Raw cheese2 cups shredded Heber Valley Snake Creek cheese1 package (1 oz) ranch-style dressing mix, more or less to taste2 cups chopped walnuts or pecans Jam of your choice Assorted crackers or sliced apples Method:Have cheese at room temperature for easier mixing and shaping. Place cheeses and dressing mix in a large mixing bowl and mix well (food processor on jog works well). Shape into 2 balls, roll each ball in chopped nuts. NOTE: If needed, refrigerate mixed cheese 20-30 minutes for easier shaping and rolling in chopped nuts. Wrap cheese balls in plastic wrap and refrigerate 2-3 hours to overnight to blend flavors. Place cheese balls at room temperature at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor. Serve with jam of your choice, sliced apples or assorted crackers of your choice.
