Suspects Identified In Girl Scout Cookie Stand Robbery
(KUTV) According to Unified Police, two people have been identified in the Taylorsville Girl Scout cookie robbery.
The suspects have been identified as Steven Andrew Kvenvold and Kayla Long.
Both have been booked into jail.
Police say at about 4 pm Saturday a blonde woman driving a grey car circled the parking lot of a Walmart on 5400 South and Redwood Road. She stopped near the stand where the girls had set up outside the store.
A man got out of the car with his wallet and asked about the price of the cookies before grabbing an envelope full of money from the Girl Scout cookie stand. He then jumped back into the car.
Police say the envelope was on the counter with all the cash proceeds from a day of selling more than 1,000 boxes.
