Man Burned In Small Explosion At Autoliv Building
(KUTV) A 29-year-old Tooele man was injured Sunday morning after a small explosion happened on the roof of the Autoliv plant in Box Elder County.
Police told the Salt Lake Tribune that the man was working on the roof of the Autoliv plant, located at 16700 W. Highway 83, in Promontory when there was there was a blast.
The man was flown a Salt Lake hospital with non-life threatening burns on his arms and face.
Box Elder County Chief Deputy Kevin Potter told the newspaper that the man was working on an air-conditioning unit at the time of the accident but investigators aren't sure what triggered the explosion.
