Dog Mistakenly Travels to Ireland
(KUTV) Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, one airline passenger got a free trip to Ireland.

But this trip wasn’t particularly pleasant for the passenger, a six-year-old English springer spaniel named Hendrix.

The dog was scheduled to fly from Newark to Phoenix, when he was accidentally put on the wrong flight and wound up in Ireland, according to a spokeswoman from United.

As soon as the mistake was discovered, the airline went to work returning Hendrix to Edith Albach, the dog’s owner.  In the meantime, Hendrix was walked and fed by airline staff, and is now happily reunited with Albach’s daughter in Phoenix.
