Governor Herbert: Utah's Report Card
Governor Herbert discusses how he thinks Utah is doing and some of the challenges unique to Utah.
Shauna Lake: How do you think Utah is doing, if you had to give it a report today?
Governor Herbert: I may be a little bit biased, but it's clearly doing extremely well, and it's certainly in the A category. In comparison, if we’re grading on a curve, we may be not only an A but an A . Doesn't mean we don't have room to improve though. We certainly have some challenges, uniquely so in Utah. But overall, you've got to be pleased with the effort we're making here, particularly in the economy. We're doing things better with education. We have a ten year energy plan that we've never had before. Our quality of life is improving. We are kind of being discovered because of our successes. So you've got to like what's happening and be optimistic about our future.
