Israel Launches Series Of Airstrikes
(KUTV) A series of Israeli airstrikes hit Gaza on Wednesday.

One attack killed Hamas' military chief.

A video shows the scene at the site of another attack on a home in Gaza.

Hamas says the death "opens the gates of hell" in its conflict with Israel.

Israel says it's targeting long-range missile sites in Gaza and wants to impair Hamas' command and control structure.

The attacks come amid a week of escalating violence.

Israel says it has been hit by more than 120 rockets from Gaza in the last few days alone.
