Korean Industrial Park Still Closed
(KUTV) A group of high school baseball players made a one-in-a-lifetime catch off the coast in Florida.
They caught a 10 to 13 foot, 1,000 pound great white shark – and it took them two hours to reel it in.
“I don’t think they really understood the magnitude of what had just happened. They were kind of in shock and it was such a big fish, but they didn’t really understand how rare that is,” said the teens’ charter boat captain.
“Shark experts say it’s rare to see a great white in the area, much less catch one. But it’s not impossible.
Great white sharks are endangered and protected, so the group released it back into the ocean.
