Body discovered floating in Mill Creek
(KUTV) A body was discovered floating in Mill Creek near 135 West and 2950 South, Sunday afternoon.
Police were called and initially it was called an apparent drowning. Once the decomposed body was pulled from the river, it wasn't clear how long the body had been in the water.
Police were called said the body appears to be male and had become lodged in debris around 235 West, 2950 South, according to a press release. Fire crews recovered the body, along with help from the medical examiner's office, that will also conduct an investigation to determine the cause of death and the identity of the person found.
The body was found around 4 p.m. There was no word on how long it might take to determine an identity.
