Carver Mortuary on probation, allowed to re-open
(KUTV) Carver Mortuary Service has been issued the right to re-open after being forced to close on Nov. 9 amid serious accusations.
Carver Mortuary was shut down in early November amid accusations of stealing jewelry from the deceased, mixing up ashes, and leaving bodies unrefrigerated.
The business was completely shut down, fined $10,000 and put on probation for five years, according to court documents.
If the business commits any further violations, their license could be revoked permanently, and could see a $50,000 fine.
No comment from Carver Mortuary yet as to whether or not they will re-open and continue to operate.
