Deaf Smith Canyon remains identified as Murray woman missing since 2015
(KUTV) Police have identified the remains discovered March 19, in Deaf Smith Canyon. Based on dental record comparisons, the remains were identified as Kellie Josephson, of Murray, Utah.
She was 55 when she disappeared and was reported missing to the Murray Police in June, 2015. Unified Police Department investigators recovered three bottles of insulin and a syringe at the scene of the remains. Two of the bottles were full and the third was empty.
Hikers discovered her remains.
Police are still investigating the cause of Josephson's death.
