Eagle Point Resort season pass holders offered free passes next year
(KUTV) -- Eagle Point season pass holders are getting next ski season for free from the Beaver, Utah resort.
The resort announced Monday that because of the poor snowfall that restricted the skiing and riding services for the majority of this year's season that all current season pass holders are to receive complimentary 2018-2019 season passes of equal value.
"Our guiding principle is to provide a high-quality experience for guests and to meet their expectations," said the resort in a Facebook post. "While we remain hopeful and optimistic about finishing the season strong, Mother Nature has not permitted us to meet everyone's expectations to date. That includes Season Pass holders like you."
The resort is also waiving all service and handling fees. The announcement has been met with expressions of gratitude on Facebook comments in response to the post.
Bj Jordan commented, "It's very rare to find a business that will risk its profits for its customer satisfaction. Good for you Eagle Point for sticking to who you are and putting the customer first!"
Snowmaking capabilities are being explored so the resort can avoid operational disruption in the future.
