Former Salt Lake City mayor files new legal papers in Brewvies 'Deadpool' fight
(KUTV) — Lawyer and former Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson is filing new legal papers against the state on behalf of local movie theater Brewvies.
The theater violated a state law last year when it showed the film "Deadpool" while serving alcohol.
State regulators issued a fine against the theater, but later withdrew it.
Fine or not, Anderson said the law is unconstitutional and is asking a federal judge to strike it down.
