High winds cause LDS Jordan River temple open house closure of its tours
(KUTV) -- The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced Monday that high winds affecting the tents outside of the Jordan River temple has caused tours to be cancelled.
The cancellation of tours is in effect for the remainder of the day but guests will be accommodated, according to LDS Church Spokeswoman Irene Caso.
Due to high winds that are affecting the tents set outside the Jordan River Temple, there will not be any open house tours for the remainder of the day, Monday, April 16. All the guests that were scheduled for today, will be accommodated.
