(KUTV) "Getting stronger every day," reads the caption of a smiling Melissa Cochran from her hospital room.

The West Bountiful woman was seriously injured and lost her husband in the London terror attack a week ago.

Melissa was seriously hurt and her husband Kurt was killed in the attack on March 22. The couple was on London's Westminster Bridge Wednesday when an SUV plowed into pedestrians. Kurt was among the four people who died.

The update to her steadily improving condition was posted on the family's GoFundMe page where more than $74,500 have been raised as part of a memorial relief fund.

On Wednesday a photo was shared of Melissa surrounded by family in her hospital bed.

"Talking with loved ones at home is some of the best medicine," read the caption to the photo.

Melissa's parents were serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in England, but will soon move back to Utah to take care of their daughter.
