Oct. 21, 2015: What can I do on 'Back To The Future' Day in Utah?
(KUTV) Great Scott!
It's Oct. 21, 2015.
Do you realize what this means? First of all, it means Nike should have self-tying laces. And it looks like that might be a reality, coming spring of 2016.
It also means there are a number of places you can go locally to see the "Back To The Future" movies.
If you don't understand any of today's references from the movie, it's not too late (if our calculations are correct).
Here's some local options to get you with the times:
Starting at 6:30 p.m. The City Library downtown will be showing a screening of Back To The Future Part II along with a photo booth. Prizes will be awarded for best costume.
- Tower Theatre in Salt Lake City
The Tower Theatre will be showing the Back To The Future Trilogy starting at 4:29 p.m. on Wednesday. Pay $20 and see all three films. Enjoy trivia, prizes and start watching the movies at 6 p.m. See more details here.
- Megaplex Theatres
- Cinemark Theatres
It will also be showing a BTTF Triple feature at Cinemark Theatres. See showtimes here.
Here's some other ways people in Salt Lake City celebrated the day with a DeLorean.
Oh and this woman on Twitter will never forget this day. What a cool proposal!
And remember in the movie where they talked about the DeLorean running on garbage. Well, that's a reality now too, Toyota says.
While we are talking about time travel, check out this Studio C video recently posted with a nod to the BTTF franchise and Doc. You'll never see him the same.
