Utah skier found dead on slopes of Snowbird
(KUTV) - The body of a Millcreek man was discovered after Snowbird a ski patrol member found him unresponsive on the mountain Wednesday morning.
Snowbird officials say the 54-year-old man was injured near Chip's Run on the mountain, but added that it appears nobody witnessed the injury.
Unified Police said Daryl Norton was found alone at 10:08 a.m. Norton was an experienced skier and familiar with the area he was skiing, according to police. Right now it is unknown if his death was caused by trauma or a medical issue.

The skier was taken to a nearby helipad where an AirMed helicopter was waiting and transported him to the hospital. Unified Police confirmed the man died from his injuries.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
