Police: Woman bound, pistol whipped in Thursday home invasion
South Salt Lake, Utah —
(KUTV) Two men climbed through the window of a home, bound a woman with duct tape and pistol whipped her Thursday morning, according to police.
The men were described as "dark skinned" by South Salt Lake police who said they are still at large. The woman who was a victim of the assault, had a cut, bumps and bruises and was taken to the hospital by her family, police said.
The men left with cash.
Neighbors reported seeing two men driving away eastbound on Truman Avenue, where the home invasion happened at about 2335 South.
They were said to be a light gray or white compact four-door passenger car. They were described as "dark skinned," men in their 20s. One was said to be wearing a gray sweater.
