Destry Mel Stewart

The man, 43-year-old Destry Mel Stewart, is out on bail from his charges and was supposed to be at a preliminary hearing Monday, but didn't show up, according to police, and now is considered wanted.

"He is a dangerous person and needs to get caught," Noel said.

Both the Beaver County and Millard County sheriff's offices are actively trying to locate Stewart.

Stewart is considered armed and dangerous. Police request that anyone who sees Stewart to phone 435-438-2862 or 911 immediately.

He is described as:

  • white
  • 5 feet 7 inches tall
  • 140 pounds
  • blue eyes
  • red or auburn hair
