West Valley man hospitalized with serious wounds after early morning shots fired report
(UPDATE) - Manhdrake Dang was been booked into Salt Lake County Jail on Saturday on charges including first degree murder and aggravated burglary. The victim is still recovering.
(KUTV) — A suspect was arrested in his Herriman home on Friday morning for his alleged role in the wounding of a West Valley man.
At 2 a.m., a relative called police to 2059 West Apple Farms Road on a report of shots fired.
The victim was found with serious wounds and taken to a hospital. It is not yet known whether the victim was shot or stabbed.
According to police, the victim is conscious and talking. However, police are waiting for the victim to be treated before speaking with him.
The suspect, identified as Manhdrake Dang, 48, was not considered a threat by police.
Authorities were led to believe the victim and Dang know each other.
The victim's family tipped off police, and Dang was later found and arrested at his home in Herriman.
There is currently no explanation for the attack.
