Police investigate shooting death in South Salt Lake
(KUTV) Salt Lake City police are investigating a possible homicide that took place near 109 East Helm Ave. early Monday evening.

Police say a man between the age 30-40 was shot and killed while sitting on the side of the road in his truck around 7:30 p.m. Monday.

Witnesses say after shots were heard a group of several people ran from the scene. Police are currently trying to find these people to gather additional information.

The name of the victim has not been released and we will have additional information on the shooting as it becomes available.
