How QB Injuries For BYU And OSU Will Impact The Game
(KUTV) BYU has two quarterbacks who like to run and midway through the
season, both Riley Nelson and Taysom Hill have been hurt. This week
Nelson returns to action and Oregon State is ready to bring the pain.

"Any
time a quarterback runs with the ball you wanna give him a little extra
just because he is a quarterback," Oregon State defensive coordinator
Mark Banker said.

But this guy here will bring it and you gotta
bring it when you come tackle him. You gotta be in good position, you
gotta wrap up and you gotta bring him to the ground."

On the
other side of the ball Head Coach Mike Riley knows the focal point for
BYU's defense will be to attack Beavers' quarterback Cody Vaz, who takes
over for the injured Sean Mannion. Still,  Riley says he has confidence
is his back-up signal-caller

"He knows everything we do and has
practiced it all," Riley said after  Wednesday's practice. "He has
always been ready, so there's no need to tear the thing down at all for
him."

BYU beat Oregon State last season in Corvallis and three
years ago in the Las Vegas Bowl. They'll meet this Saturday in Provo,
kick-off is set for 1:30 p.m.
