BYU Changes Football Jerseys to Feature Values, Not Names
(KUTV) BYU Football Coach Bronco Mendenhall surprised his team Thursday by taking away their names on their jerseys.

Mendenhall revealed that rather than “Van Noy” or “Hoffman” the jerseys will read “Spirit”, “Tradition” or “Honor”.

However, the change didn’t go over well.

Mendenhall took to Twitter Thursday night, tweeting “Talked to my team tonight, they want to wear tradition, spirit, honor on jerseys for homecoming only.” Last names will be used the rest of the year.
