BYU To Face Iona In Play-In Game
(KUTV) BYU basketball coach Dave Rose has coached the Cougars to five straight 20-win seasons, including this season. Twice the Cougars have won 30 games under his watch.

Rose has also guided BYU to four conference titles and gotten the Cougars to six straight NCAA appearances. But waiting for today's announcement was more nerve racking than usual.

"When you get to this point everything feels exactly the same, except its going to sped up a little bit." Rose said of Tuesday's play-in with Iona. "There won't be any sleep tonight we've got to gather film we can watch, get that information to the players. We have to figure out a travel schedule, which will be interesting to see--when we actually leave and when we get in."

The team has had time to rest since its loss in the semifinals of the West Coast Conference tournament, players think the rest can only help them.

"We're just looking forward to it," BYU forward Noah Hartsock said. "I think everyone is just ready to play in the tournament."

BYU will take on Iona Tuesday night at 7pm on TruTV.
