RSL Battles Vancouver To 1-1 Draw
(KUTV) Real Salt Lake snapped a three game road losing streak and scored their first road goal since the season opener at San Jose, while playing to a 1-1 draw at Vancouver.

Vancouver attacked from the beginning and RSL withstood the barrage thanks to goalkeeper Nick Rimando who made three quality saves in the first 20 minutes.

The game was scoreless through the first hour and then finally in the 66th minute Olmes Garcia, a 20 year old Columbian, gave RSL the lead.  Javier Morales fed him the ball just beyond the left corner of the 18 yard box and Garcia bent a perfect shot around goalkeeper Joe Cannon into the  top right corner of the goal.

Vancouver got the equalizer about 15 minutes later when Nat Borchers slipped inside the area.  His hand came down on the ball and Camilo converted the penalty.RSL returns home to host Chivas USA Saturday.
