Bailey Says Jazz Need To Find More Consistency
(KUTV) The Utah Jazz take on the Miami Heat tonight at Energy Solutions Arena. We'll have extended highlights and a trip to the locker room on 2News at 10 and Talkin' Sports on KMYU.
Sunday night Jazz analyst Thurl Bailey joined us on Talkin' Sports and discussed what's missing with this team. After winning 2 of 3 games on the road, the Jazz are 20-19 and in 9th place in the Western Conference playoff race-- a game behind the Blazers.
Bailey, a 14-year NBA veteran said this year's edition of the Jazz have lacked consistency and part of the reason why is the loss of starting point guard Mo Williams and Marvin Williams.
Still, Bailey believes the Jazz can become a playoff team, if they can find the right blend of inside-outside play.
Bailey points to obvious additions of Randy Foye, Marvin Williams and Mo Williams as why the team has a chance, along with improved play from Gordon Hayward and Alec Burks.
As for Monday's big game against the world champion Heat, Bailey says don't be surprised if the Jazz find a way to pull off the upset, much like they did earlier this season against the Spurs.
