Erickson Ready To Help Utah Offense
(KUTV) He won national championships as the leader of the Miami Hurricanes and most recently guided the Arizona State football program back to respectability.

On Wednesday, Dennis Erickson was officially introduced as Utah's new co-offensive coordinator.

Erickson said it took him about a week after talking to Kyle Whittingham about the position to determine that he was ready to get back into college coaching.

One of his first duties will be to identify returning talent and see if it will fit the spread offense he runs.

The veteran coach has already said he likes the size of quarterback Travis Wilson and believes his ability to run and pass will be a cornerstone of
Utah's offense in the future.
