(KUTV) There comes a point in every athlete’s career when your body tells you it's time to hang it up and that moment arrived on Monday for Utah quarterback Jordan Wynn.

Wynn suffered a shoulder injury for the 4th time when he was thrown to the turf during Friday night’s loss at Utah State.

Wynn has started since his freshman year, but has also battled shoulder injuries.

This leaves senior Jon Hays, and freshman Travis Wilson to battle for the starting spot this Saturday against BYU.
