Checketts Analyzes NBA Free Agency
(KUTV) We're in a feeding frenzy in the NBA right now. Teams have been wheeling and dealing all over the league snatching up prize free-agents and capitalizing on trades.
So far, the Utah Jazz have been among the busiest teams in the league, adding point guard Mo Williams with its trade exception and then trading for Hawks forward Marvin Williams.
In a point guard driven league, it comes as no surprise to see both the young and old guard of the league--cleaning up financially during this free-agent bonanza .
Deron Williams signed with Nets for $100 million, Steve Nash signed with the Lakers for three-years and $27 million. And Thursday we learned that 39-year-old Jason Kidd will play for the Knicks.
Kidd scored a contract for roughly $9 million over three years, he'll be 42 when the deal is up.
1280 The Zone's Spence Checketts joined Talkin' Sports Thursday, as he weighed in on the Jazz's moves and talked about the funk that RSL is in after its draw with the Sounders.
