Locke Looks For Youth To Lead Jazz Next Season
(KUTV) David Locke, the radio voice of the Utah Jazz, has never been short on opinion or answers for Jazz fans wondering what the future holds for the franchise.
This year could be very different on the free-agent front. Locked cautioned that bringing in hired guns like Carlos Boozer, Al Jefferson and Mo Williams might not happen as frequent as it has in the past.
With a number of free-agents to re-sign and a core group of younger players looking for playing time. Jazz executives Kevin O' Connor and Dennis Lindsey might decide it's time for youth to be served.
Locke believes a combination of the team's younger players--spearheaded by Gordon Hayward and Derrick Favors-should be given an opportunity to develop, even at the expense of a playoff run.
If that turns out to be the case, Jazz fans expecting a quick fix, might have a long wait before the team can be a serious challenger in the Western Conference.
