Utah Jazz Looking To Turn Fortunes Around On Road
(KUTV) The Lakers will not start forward Pau Gasol tonight against the
Utah Jazz, he will miss his fourth straight game with a tendinitis in
his knee.

Lakers coach Mike D' Antoni told ESPNLosAngeles.com
that  he did not want to "mess" with Pau [and his injury] because he's
too important to the team and he's earned to the right sit and get
better.

The Lakers (9-11) have also been with Steve Nash for the
majority of the season, as he recovers from a leg injury. D' Antoni
indicated he didn't want Nash to return until he's 100 percent, however
he believes the 38-year-old point guard is getting close to returning.

The
Utah Jazz (11-10) are also dealing with injuries. Both Al Jefferson
(back spasms) and Derrick Favors(planter fasciitis) were missing from
the line-up as the Jazz pounded Toronto Friday night 131-99 Friday night
and 8 Jazz players scored in double figures.

Utah is only 3-9
away from Energy Solutions Arena. L.A. has improved its scoring over the
last five games from 96.4 points per game to 108.2 points per game. We
could see an old-school Western Conference shoot-out because for only
the sixth time since 1997-98 season Utah scored over a 130 points.

Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. MTS and we'll have highlight and post game reaction tonight on Talkin' Sports.
