BYU Football holds new Youth Football Camp for aspiring players
(KUTV) On Thursday BYU held a youth football camp that was patterned after the NFL’s Pro Day.
Coaches worked with kids from 5th to 8th grade teaching them the skills they need get to the next level this fall season.
BYU Offensive Coordinator Ty Detmer says the new program is great for aspiring players.
“I think it’s great for the kids, I think they get a little bit of a baseline,” Detmer, the 1990 Heisman Trophy winner and former NFL football player turned BYU coach told 2News on Thursday.
