(KUTV) Free agent forward Gordon Hayward has reportedly decided to sign a contract with the Boston Celtics.

ESPN reporter Chris Haynes attributed the information to "league sources" in a tweet posted Tuesday afternoon.

The 27-year-old former Jazz player has a 21 point-per-game average, according to ESPN.

As of 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, however, many reporters are still saying Hayward has not made a decision.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted "Gordon Hayward's agent, Mark Bartelstein, tells ESPN: 'Gordon hasn't made a decision yet. We are still working through it.'"

Jordan Schultz of Yahoo! Sports tweeted, "Sources confirm Gordon Hayward has NOT made a decision. The report saying he is headed to #celtics -- at least as of right now -- is UNTRUE."
