Jade joined 2News after spending most of her news career in eastern Washington from Spokane to most recently back in her hometown, the Tri-Cities, where she was the main morning news anchor for KAPP/KVEW-TV.
She is a proud alumna of the Edward R. Murrow College of Communications at Washington State University, GO COUGS!!!
During her career, Jade has had the opportunity to report live from the Pac-12 championship game in California and ESPN Gameday from Pullman, she’s covered snowstorms for the weather channel during a record-breaking winter and has been blessed with being able to tell the stories of people in her communities that truly make a difference.
Jade always knew she wanted to be a news anchor. As a kid, she would turn the TV on mute and read the closed captioning like a teleprompter.
She is also a former titleholder and Miss Congeniality with the Miss America Organization and continues to stay involved in the organization as a volunteer. She also volunteers with Children’s Hospital, raising money for their uncompensated care fund.
Jade is a wife and mom and, when not reading the news, she loves to sing, emcee events, wakeboard and watch football with her family. Married to a proud former Utah Ute football player, you can find them both at the stadium during the season.
Jade loves getting up dark and early to bring you the latest news from overnight and throughout the morning. You can catch her during the week on 2News in the morning.
