(KUTV) -- Food blogger and now author Nevada Berg with North Wild Kitchen made a traditional Norwegian cake on KUTV 2 News This Morning.
Berg grew up in Sandy, Utah, went to the University of Utah, and now lives in Norway with her husband and son.
A couple years ago, Berg started blogging about Norway, food, and traditional Norwegian dishes.
Her blog, “North Wild Kitchen” was recognized as Blog of the Year in 2016 by Saveur Magazine. Berg has now released a cookbook called, “North Wild Kitchen: Home Cooking from the Heart of Norway.”
175g (3/4 cup) sugar
175g (1 1/4 cups) flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 egg yolks
55g (1/4 cup) sugar
2 Tb corn starch
5 dl (2 cups) whole milk
1/2 vanilla pod or 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
650g (3 cups) heavy whipping cream
2 1/2 Tb powdered sugar
Mix of blueberries, strawberries & raspberries (or other fruits/berries of your choice)
Milk or juice
