Days of '47 Rodeo

(KUTV) Salt Lake City - The Days of '47 Cowboy Games & Rodeo is in full swing at the Utah State Fairpark. Kari & Dave from Z104 took a tour of the rodeo, Young Living Frontier Fun Zone, and the brand-new arena. Tommy Joe Lucia, Managing Director of the Days of '47 Rodeo walked us through their amazing new arena that seats thousands (and there's not a bad seat in the house).

Kari & Dave then met Rank Lil Buckers' Sr. Bareback rider, Jacoby Campbell, who ranks 4th in the world.

At the Young Living Frontier Fun Zone, kids can find The New Buffalo Soldiers. Kids will learn and have fun checking out guns, tents, and more.

The million-dollar rodeo brings in world-class cowboys and cowgirls. Anthony Lucia, Days of '47 Cowboy Games & Rodeo Announcer, broke down this year's competition for Kari & Dave.

Speaking of world-class competition, the Fresh Living hosts met Stevi Hillman, who's ranked 2nd in the world for barrel racing.

Did you know the first 500 kids into the Young Living Frontier Fun Zone on Thursday July 20th get either a free cowboy hat or fidget spinner? That's all thanks to Chad Fredrickson, Marketing Director with Komatsu.

The Days of '47 Cowboy Games & Rodeo runs July 19-22, 24th, 2017. A ticket to the rodeo gets you into the Young Living Frontier Fun Zone for free, but you can also buy tickets just to the Young Living Frontier Fun Zone. Go to Daysof47CowboyGames.com.
