(KUTV) Salt Lake City - A new study from researchers in Spain has shown that eating a “Mediterranean Diet” is associated with better grades in high school student. The Mediterranean Diet, which is rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, nuts/seeds, fermented foods, and healthy fats from fish and olives has previously been shown to improve cognitive performance and maintain brain function in older adults, but this new research shows a similar effect in teenagers.
