Miss Utah talks placing top 10 at Miss America competition
KUTV — For the first time in over a decade, Miss Utah placed as a top ten finalist in the Miss America competition!
Miss Utah, Sasha Sloan, joined Fresh Living to share more about what her experience was like at the Miss America competition.
In addition to placing, Sasha received a total of $15,500 in scholarships and was recognized for her social impact initiative: "Refugees Welcome."
In partnership with "Their Story is our Story" Sasha has created a curriculum to teach students about inclusivity.
She is currently booking classes for the 2022 school year to share this curriculum with students.
Sasha will continue her year of service performing, serving, and furthering her social impact initiative until June 2022.
