City Creek Center

(KUTV) -- Today on Fresh Living Kari took a trip down to City Creek Center to meet Linda Wardell, General Manager, to take a look at everything going on at City Creek Center this holiday season.

The National Broadway Touring production of Wicked is coming to the Eccles Theater in early 2019 and will have an interactive display at City Creek Center to promote its run in Salt Lake City. The display will be in the City Creek Center skybridge from November 15 to December 17. Guests can view costumes and learn about Wicked from our brand ambassador team.

City Creek Center has a beautiful Christmas Décor program that was custom-created for City Creek Center and downtown Salt Lake City that uses 24 miles of lights to wrap all of the trees at City Creek Center, and features a tree 30' tall that weighs over 3,000 pounds with lights and décor. Located at the end of the retail gallerias are giant wreaths so large that a 6' man can comfortably stand inside of them.

CoreLife Eatery

New this year at City Creek Center is CoreLife Eatery, a fast casual restaurant offering a variety of healthy signature made to order meals bringing together scratch cooking with flavorful source ingredients. Sara Boyer, Head Cook at Corelife Eatery, sat down with Kari to talk about some of the items on their menu, including warm rice bowls, green bowls, grain bowls, and bone broth bowls. All foods are free of trans fat, artificial colors, sweeteners, and other artificial additives. The restaurant offers many vegetarian and vegan options, as well as kids' menu items.

Kari also stopped by Salomon, the only Salomon retail store in the country, to meet with manager Justin Minaya. A staff favorite, the Sense Ride is a great do-it-all shoe, with tread that provides grip and traction on the trail, but is not so aggressive that wearing them as an everyday shoe would be uncomfortable. Available in both Goretex and mesh styles, the Sense Ride makes a great gift. They also took a look at the Suunto 9, which received the Gear of the Year award from Runners World.

Next Kari took a look inside Evereve, a contemporary fashion and styling company, with Kim Degen. Serving to inspire moms who love fashion and want to be their best every day. With stores designed with play areas for kids, Evereve helps moms feel taken care of and empowered to live each day fully in style.
